Team project - Lead Programmer, graphics programmer, some level and mechanical design

A short 2D puzzle platforming adventure game where the player must use the power of a water spirit and their platforming skills to solve puzzles and save the world. I programmed our two character controllers, including a complex procedural animation system for the water spirit, which changes the melt animation depending on the direction of a heat source.

I wrote all the game's code in C# in unity, made most of the particle systems, designed all of level 1 and most of level 2, as well as assisting in designing the game's main mechanics. I worked with a team of talented individuals to deliver content milestones on specific deadlines to keep momentum up to complete the game by our deadline in under 4 months.

More recently, Aqua has been nominated for an award at the Asthetica Short Film Festival in York, after we spent a further month polishing the game with new art and bugfixes to bring it up to our new standards as graduates.
